Best Naengmyun in Koreatwon. I've been going here for the last 40 years. I actually used to teach the daughter of the owner back then. New owner now. Naengmyun used to have so much meat back then. Oh well. Noodles are still good. Quite expensive now but bbq meat quality is great. Service is great. Can't complain except for price.

Korean food is very personal to me... I love it! I have had Korean food in South Korea and in some of the finest Korean restaurants in the greater Los Angeles, California. Chung Ki Wa is one of those best places to enjoy genuine Korean food. Each dish that my Wife and I have enjoyed at Chung Ki Wa has been prepared with the highest quality ingredients; vegetables and meats. - the food is incredibly delicious! The Customer Service is always Outstanding! Each of the wonderful Waitresses treat my Wife and I with genuine respect, kindness and attention. The interior design and decor of Chung Ki Wa restaurant reminds me of many great eating experiences in South Korea. The ambient is welcoming, respectful and friendly. My Wife and I highly recommend this magnificent restaurant for your next Korean cuisine experience. Order the delicious Galbi (ribs) marinated beef and Chilean Sea Bass soup, steam rice and the accompanying vegetable dishes. You will love it!

Chung Ki Wa is my absolute favorite Korean restaurant in Los Angeles. I've been coming here for 30-35 years. The food is high quality. The service is outstanding. The restaurant is clean. The food is super tasty. Yuk Hwe. Korean style raw beef served with a raw egg, lemon, Asian pear, cucumbers. I've tried this dish here for my first time 30 years ago and have been hooked. They have the best Yuk Hwe in Los Angeles. Grade: A+ We ordered Set A from the menu. We chose marinated galbi. This was two generous pieces of high quality galbi on the bone. When cooking, it grilled perfectly and cut easily (tender). Grade. A We also chose beef brisket and tongue. The brisket was sliced perfectly and was tasty! High quality meat. Grade. A The tongue was super delicious! It was high quality pieces and when cooked it had a nice tender chew to it. Great flavor. Grade A+ Service was absolutely outstanding. Three ladies worked hard in unison to provide great customer service. Service Grade: A+ One thing that stood out to me during our meal was the the utensils were clean and new. The scissors that they provide to cut meats during your meal was sharp and cut the meat well. Other restaurants have cheap and dull cutlery. Overall impression: A+

Experienced a traditional Korean dinner. I want to acknowledge how exquisite the service is. My family and I felt so welcomed and cared for. We ordered the combo A which came with 3 meats of your choice, soybean stew and a drink. In addition, we ordered 2 of the cold noodles. The cold noodles come in large portions and is perfect for sharing! When we ordered 2, the staff was so kind to already divide the soup into 4 bowls and I still couldn't finish it lol. Very generous on the noodles. Pairs well with the mustard and vinegar they offer on the side. The combo A was very fitting and the quality of the meat did not disappoint! Though it may be pricey, it's worth every penny. I would recommend the short rib, brisket and pork belly. Overall, the dishes felt like home. Not too heavy on seasoning yet filled with flavor. I will be a returning customer!
